EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Second time around with this knife. I really like it and it is so lightweight. Backpacker's magazine voted it best knife 2019.
It is an exact copy (just different materials)of the more expensive ZT 0470. It's a wicked knife for a fraction of the price.

That's funny. I was carrying the Kershaw Fraxion in a flannel pocket today for "Throwback Thursday". I think these came out right around the same time. I definitely didn't expect to see a contemporary while catching up to make my post!

The Fraxion was an interesting knife when it came out. While less "fancy" or ergonomically friendly than the Atmos, it is thinner and lighter. Lots of people complained about the strong detent and lower-profile flipper tab, but that made it perfect for just dropping into a pocket. (In fact, I took the clip off mine and that's how I'd carry it.) Meanwhile, that overlay was perfectly shaped to grip while flipping without a clip.

Of course, it is only 8Cr13Mov. Mine also has a messy grind with funky termination and a big smile at the heel. I always felt like there should have been a premium version of this with better steel and more attention to detail...

Today got turned a little sideways as we veered in a few different directions here and I ended up spending a good bit of it searching on line with some input from my mechanic to find the right shocks and steering stabilizer for the F350. I've put about 4300 into the old girl over the last few weeks and am hopeful this will be the last expenditure for some time until I get around to rebuilding or replacing the bed. I still want a heavy-duty pickup but being mostly retired I sure don't want payments on one of these now stupidly high-priced models. There's still plenty of life in the one I've got and a few K here and there is way better than 75 for new or 20+ for something used and high-mileage that doesn't offer much more than what I already have.

Anyway, today's knife was right next to yesterday's when I put it away. I haven't carried this one for a while and it was any easy and quick choice to make.
