Thanks for the informative response! I think it’s time to read up on some Demko knives and decide if one is for me.It's a solid design, and I like it.
>Like the blade shape. High flat ground saber. Jimping is comfortable for a bare thumb and is well placed. I use the thumb stud, but the oblong hole works just as well. In sharpening, the D2 feels like it's at the high end of its Rockwell range. It's very crisp when working with a diamond hone. Holds an edge well.
>I very much like the ergonomics of the handle with its nested liners. Disappears in the pocket, but is still very comfortable in the hand, even when gripping hard. Good texture on the FRN surface. Rough enough to aford a secure grip, but does not have a problem going in and out of the pocket.
>I like the Shark lock, and find it intuitive to use. It's possible to wrist flick it open and closed. I don't normally do that, but you can. Locks up like a bank vault with no wiggle to it in any direction.

I agree with everything you wrote. I have the AUS10A version and it is a great knife. It's a solid design, and I like it.

Cool knife! Vosteed is an excellent brand!I've had this Vosteed Corgi Pup clipped to my pocket since I got it. At 3.5" closed it's just the right size for me to EDC. The S35VN blade came super sharp and I like the grind. The PEI Ulteem handle is nice and grippy but not annoyingly so. The Trek Lock is a pretty neat design and with the caged ceramic ball bearings, it flips (even thumb flips), flicks effortlessly, and locks up tight with no blade play. The only thing I don't like about it is the mirror-polished pocket clip. I've ordered a titanium replacement from Kizer which I think I'll like better.
Now I'm going to brew a pot of my favorite coffee and browse the forums!
