Spyderco Sunday and I am carrying my Spyderco Native 5 lightweight. This knife is a total sleeper!
I really love it's lines the blade shape is perfect!

After doing a number of small things around the house today along with a pretty fair amount Sunday relaxation, I figured to get some pics of today's carry outdoors late afternoon. Instead we got a violent thunderstorm and a torrential downpour, so here's a couple pics of my Wilson Combat Starbenza from around three years ago.

Gave the girl a little wax few days ago and she’s looking purrrrty.

Good looking knife. I’ve always liked the tanto blade on the SR1. I’ve been tempered many times to pick up the green G10 version.

I already have the also-awesome 4-Max Scout, so I picked the tanto SR1 Lite over the drop point for sheer smashin'-n-bashin' nonsense and tomfoolery (and because the 4-Max I already have has a drop point). I also wanted to try out the SR1 Lite at this price to see if I really want to spend 3x as much on S35 and G10. So, of course, if you're already tempted, buy the green one! What could go wrong?

Have a good day my friends. I've been messing around with sharpening this Mora on some benchstones over the weekend. I used my Sharpal diamond stone on the 325 grit side, followed up with the Spyderco medium ceramic stone, and then did a few passes on the Spyderco fine stone.

I've been carving this piece of wood slowly but surely (a few minutes here, a few minutes there), trying to turn it into a spatula of sorts since I've already done a couple spoons, but the wood it's made of (I can't remember what it is) is proving to be exceptionally hard and awkward to work.
