EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Well something happened today that I've long joked about. I actually bought a knife from the flea market worth bringing home! I actually had the We version in the past and didn't particularly care for how the clip was placed and the lock mechanism was very tight. The Civivi version has the clip in a much better spot along with the mechanism isn't too stiff. And I was able to pick up this Ti lightning anod Clip for 8 bucks. I was also super surprised to see Wicked products there as well.IMG_20240707_175816251~2.jpgIMG_20240707_145353920_HDR.jpg

Feeling nostalgic so I switched to a couple of favorites for the afternoon/evening, the OG Cru-Wear Manix from way back and a Rambler. Listened to some old school tunes via vintage HiFi, grilled a mess of Salmon on the Weber kettle (my son came home so clean plates all around), then rolled around in the park across the street with the pup a bit enjoying the view. Wonder what the rich folk are doing tonight? 🤔

That Sony has me nostalgic. Takes me back to Sunday mornings when I was a kid. Dad had the vinyl going and bacon in the cast iron.

Sweet! Sunday music is a tradition around our place as well. I start off with Johnny Cash's "Sunday Morning Coming Down", then a few old timey gospel favorites, then gradually see where the vibe takes me (you never know around here, could be anything from Hank Sr. to OutKast). Then at 9AM, there's a great radio show called The Roadhouse on the local independent radio station (KEXP) that were lucky to be blessed with; which has a mix of blues, folk, country, and Soul. It's archived and available for streaming on their website, so I highly suggest checking it out.

This weekend's EDC

* Mazer Walkabout in S90V and blue jeans linen micarta,
* The "Quicker F'er Upper" double walled vacuum insulated drink holder from my local gun club (ignore this and focus on the Mazer knife),
* Flytanium Arcade in S35VN in DLC with blue and and carbon fiber inlays (that and the stonewashed with milled Ti inlays is heading to get lanyards with Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley who will get the stonewashed version and all the inlays but the CF and Purple G10),
* Civivi Praxis Damascus with G2 lanyard.
* Benchmade Shootout always on my left side

Mornin guys. I'm a little bit behind on the EDC pics. This one's lived a bit of an easy life, I won't lie, but I was carrying it around outside over the weekend. Maxamet is a strange steel, but if you have a job where you just need to do a crap load of cutting, and don't need to be putting any torsion into your cuts or what not, it's fantastic. I got it for that, however haven't really run into a situation yet where I need to just do an enormous amount of cutting in one sitting/standing.
