Is that an electric motor bike or a full fledged e motorcycle? Looks like it would be a lot of fun out camping with little noise.

My wife has a Surron and I’ve got a Talaria! We’re riding in multiple OHV spots from Bridgeport to Alabama Hills the last few weeks. Both are electric motos with twist throttles and foot pegs! Range is up to 40 miles depending on elevation gain and terrain. Good silent fun for sure!

I like knifes. With that out of the way, Doc, do you think the WC grip module is a must? I’ve been contemplating getting one for my Macro, but honestly it works just fine as is. Any absolute benefits?

So, I don't have the Macro or the Macro grip. For me the WC P365XL grip module is a must as it is a longer grip that takes 12 round mags without a spacer, AND (2) they can drop free without having to move my hand or fingers to clear the magazine. Also, (3) the mag-well is pretty wide open for fast reloads. And, (4) the WC XL grip is also bigger in circumference, depth, and width than the stock grip module that felt a little small for my hands.

I upgraded my P365XL and my son's old OG P365 short grip with the WC XL grip, and I upgraded my short grip ZEV Z365 with a short WC grip as well. My original P365 from 2019 has an OD green Grayguns short textured grip on it - it's the same skinny grip module as OEM but lasered with better texture and OD green cerakote. See previous pics of his P365 with Grayguns XL grip. The Grayguns shorty works best if (1) I want a short grip but (2) I will often use it with the extended 12 round OEM mags with spacer too. I don't want to trust the MagGuts 14 round extended mags completely until I have a few hundred rounds through the modded magazines, so I carry my original 365/Grayguns shorty with 10+1 and a couple of spare OEM 12's.

The skateboard-tape like texture of stippling at the front and backstrap of the WC is also more aggressive than OEM or Grayguns, but the "Rays" pattern texture on the grip's sides is just right! And, you can smooth down the rough texture on the front and backstrap pretty easily if it's too sharp. I have not done that yet, and it's easy to maintain a stable grip with it a little sharper; but my son doesn't like the more aggressive texture in the front and back of the WC grips, although the sides are just right for him. So he switched to a GrayGuns XL grip on his Zev 365.

I do have the Short WC grip module on my ZEV Z365, as it pairs best with my 10 round shorty mags, especially those that have the MagGuts spring/base upgrade from 10 to 12 rounds without adding length (well, maybe 2-3 mm longer than the flat baseplate mags not shown). I have tested my modded 10 round short mags that now hold 12 rounds, and have had zero failures but only put about 150 rounds total through the 3 magazines. I have found that the OEM 12 round extended mags for short grips (that have the spacer between the grip and the baseplate) don't line up perfectly at the rear of the short WC grip module (see pics). So after I have a few hundred more rounds through the MagGuts 12 round short mags I'll carry those in the ZEV regularly.

But it's really not a bother for me, since I wont use the OEM 12 rounders with a spacer on this ZEV, due to the optic making it harder to pocket carry if I use an XL grip or magazine in addition to the optic (it can be too tall for a pocket at that point).

Any short grip is going to need you the change your hand position to freely drop a magazine out of the grip, but so does the OEM XL and Grayguns XL grip modules - my palm touches the magazine base and they don't drop, but not an issue for me with the Wilson Combat XL grip.

As I mentioned, I also have the Grayguns lasered texture short grip module (my son has the same in XL length), which adds texture to the smooth area under your thumb and index fingers when holding the gun. That is a great upgrade for people who LIKE the shape and size of the stock module, but do not like the OEM texturing, or lack thereof, on the upper part of the OEM grip.
