Vinyl siding and asphalts on a cheek--super PIA to pick apart! There's probably foam board and/or old siding underneath the vinyl on that wall too. It's basically impossible to re-roof with confidence without stripping the wall--something homeowners usually don't understand. Good luck with that one.
