Absolutely! I bought this new at only 10% off full retail but even then, I've been very happy with it. The thicker handle fills my larger hand. The slight recess running through the pivot area also makes it very comfortable in pinch grip. (I often find myself holding those spots with my thumb and middle finger, reaching my index finger over from the back to actuate the front flipper, and then resting that index finger on the spine to make a modified pinch grip for detail cuts. It's also easy to close from that grip.)

I did end up rounding over the scale edges and that takes the regular-grip comfort to the next level. With them dropping so low in price since being discontinued, I picked up a few more to do mods and scale swaps. I've been meaning to try dyeing this kind of darker burlap Micarta for a while. It might be nice with the black blade from the 3V version.
