Waited all day for the rain to stop, rhem went out to try and make a star fire/cowboy fire (never made one like that before)
Since it’s been one week of constant rain, I cheated and brought 5 small logs
It did not burn like it does in movies…. Fire died, everything around is soaking wet
Full panic, pride mortally wounded, emergency batoned and feathered one of the half burned logs, rearranged the whole thing, a tiiiny bit of birch bark I could lit with the spine and a LMF, and then emptied my lungs. Got it going, no I can go home and be somewhat satisified

Been really liking the MSI. Had my doubts but overall it’s been a great EDC knife. Added the zip tie that acts like an Emerson wave and works surprisingly well.
