Haven’t been around much lately due to a home renovation that is now running close to five months behind schedule and has seen us move 6 times since May.

Anyway, that’s a story for another day; but the result of all those moves is that the majority of my knives have been in storage for the past 5 months….so my carry options have been limited.

Today’s carry happens to be a new arrival. I wasn’t familiar with the work of French knife-maker Stephane Sagric, but when I stumbled upon this “Ghost” model I couldn’t stop looking at it.

Gotta be honest, in this case I’m actually happy that I have the self-restraint and willpower of a 6-year old. I’ve already started stashing away funds for another one.

That one photo tells me more about that knife (when I'm trying to decide to buy it) than the six photos and a list of incomplete specs that I normally have to chicken eye.

I just picked up this Carbonfiber Mini Freek yesterday. I think I like it more than my full sized M4 Super Freek. I have had this on my radar for sometime and I am so thankful I found one at a great price!

It’s Blackwood carbon fiber. The bolsters are zirconium.

I’m loving it! Hasn’t left my pocket since it showed up. This is probably the longest I’ve went without having a Hinderer in my pocket in the last 5 years
