Yellow eye Tang, or Kole as we call them. A reef fish that has a buttery taste when fried, considered a local delicacy. Gathered with a three prong spear while free diving.

This is my first current-generation Emerson (my fourth CQC-7 variant overall), and I like the recent changes a lot. The single detent is both stronger (can't shake the blade free even with a wrist whip) and crisper, so it's thumb-flickable right out of the box. Everything I've always loved about Emersons remains the same, although I do miss the year notation under the logo, and the 7 is such a great knife. Can't wait for my Pete Gray disk to arrive!

Relaxing day of touching up the M390 blades. Finally started carrying this Andrey Biryukov in CPM125v.

There's that AB Sigma that you and I had PM'd about after you'd saved me the $ by buying it first. You finding it a good carry? Also wondering if you worked on the edge? I've not sharpened CPM above S90V and found it quite grueling, although that knife belonged to someone who had dulled the sh*t out of it.
