EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Beautiful......👌👌👌.......Hell of a score...👍
Thank you, J….always appreciated!

...told us what the scales are made from , at least ! ;)
Lol…scales are spalted maple and G10. We decided to try the star shield/pin on the Barlow. Ted sent me pics of the first attempt, and while it looked fine to me he wasn’t 100% happy with it so he remade the knife. That’s a sign of a maker I’d use again in a heartbeat.

Pulled out my grandpa's old Gerber multitool last night to give some attention to. I noticed those few surface rust spots so I wanted to treat it with Boeshield T-9 (a cool corrosion inhibitor that comes out like oil and leaves a film over it like a light wax. Made by Boeing to keep their landing gear from rusting). This is my favorite multitool of all time. Beyond being that it was my grandpa's, it also has this really cool tool that they don't make anymore. It's super sturdy, has a nice chisel grind and is very pokey and quite sharp. Awesome for stripping wires and all kinds of other stuff.

Boeshield is the best.

One of my first real 'knife loves' that I never owned, but got the passion ignited for knives. I recently saw one on the 'bay about a month ago - was an absolute beauty. I wasn't able to snag it, but one of these days, I'm going to grab one and hopefully own the one that started it all for me, my 'gateway' knife.
