You think you are the coolest person in the room until this guy shows up!!
First time I’ve ever been called coolest guy in the room. You think you are the coolest person in the room until this guy shows up!!![]()
Thanks Ed…but feel a little sorry for me. All my winter clothes are still buried in storage back in FL. I came up with 3 pairs of shorts, 4 short-sleeve shirts, 1 pair of jeans and a hoodie. It was 21 degrees last night. It’s hard to pretend to be impervious to the cold when your teeth are chattering and snot is dripping from your noseSorry but with a view like that I can’t say I feel sorry for you
But I get ya there is no place like home
Edit: For some reason after saying that I wanted to spin in a circle and click
My heels together![]()
Thanks, J. We love it up here; awesome little mountain town, great location, nice view. In a perfect world we’d be spending lot more time here…but somehow we keep getting sucked into work crap and obligations back in FL. I think we’re gonna try and spend most of this coming summer up here and see how it goes. But the goal is to eventually be here half the year…..and leave only when we want to leave.Looks like heaven to me......Wouldn't wanna leave ever.![]()
Thanks. Been a weird year not being able to move into our FL place due to construction delays and then getting kicked out of the rental we had secured for the duration of our remodel (for having a 10-lb dog; an obscure, normally overlooked rule none of us were aware of). If 10 consecutive moves in 7 months has taught me anything it’s that “Home” is wherever the dog is waiting for ya. Seeing the tail wag and the zoomies kick in the minute you walk through the door can take the edge off just about any cramped, makeshift living arrangement. But after spending the last 6 weeks living with my wife's best friend in extremely close quarters it certainly is nice to be in our own home again, even if just for a short time.Welcome home. Congratulations. The view would never grow old.
If you object to that maybe he should have said the best looking guy in the roomFirst time I’ve ever been called coolest guy in the room.![]()
Totally know what you mean about the tail wags. Thanks Ed…but feel a little sorry for me. All my winter clothes are still buried in storage back in FL. I really thought I had left some cold weather gear up here.

Anyway, by the time we get back to FL we’ll be settling into the new digs…even if it means bathing in the kitchen sink and peeing out the back door.
Hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful holiday season!!
