Mail call GB2. Wasn't sure how I felt about the aftermarket blue Ti hardware but it looks ok. While a nice one, the 3D milled clip did not match the knife at all and luckily the original was included so back on it went. I may end up going with a deep MXG though. For a work knife it sure is purty and im excited to try out the M4.

What are you hunting with those bullets? Triceratops? They look the business.

Hahahaha!

Axis deer. Not a large animal, but sometimes necessary to shoot long distances across rough terrain.

It’s better to drop the game quickly and instantly, since you may have to hike through a mountain gulch to claim your harvest.

This CPM 3V is a fantastic steel for processing!

Winchester ballistic silvertips. Nice. Looks like a your shooting a .270, just answering a guess
looking at projectile size. 130gr??

Great eye! You are correct. I usually use good ole Core Lokt Remingtons but on today’s hunt I wanted a bit more stability at distance.
Those silvertips are a great choice for taking game at distance. Reliable, controlled expansion & penetration, even at those lower velocities when you reach out there..and they have a relatively low standard deviation to boot. Nice kit!!!
