I have a parasitic draw on my Forester. I have a battery tender for my motorcycle, so I bought an extra cable for the Subaru. Now, I can quickly plug it in if the vehicle will be parked for more than a few days.I was planning to go up to my eldest son's house to do a bit of work on the upstairs apartment in his house so he can get it rented out again. That was gonna require a work user and I finally set aside my SHFs and grabbed my Large 21 inlayed Insingo to carry. Unfortunately, my truck didn't cooperate as the battery was dead and wouldn't take a charge.
The F350 has always had a slight parasitic draw that remains unfound but was never a big problem with regular use during my working years. Now that it sits most of the time I need to remember to keep it charged up as it just killed a year-old battery. Fortunately, NAPA replaced it under warranty this afternoon at no cost. I really should take the time with a multi-meter to try to suss it out.

I was just looking at battery tenders and think I'll go that way. I was looking at the NOCO Genius 2D. What are you running?I have a parasitic draw on my Forester. I run a bike master for, you guessed it, the bike (it's lithium) I have a noco genius I got from a white elephant that I'll be checking out when the car shows any signs of needing it. Previously I had been using an old Walmart brand 12 volt trickle that just keeps on trucking along, I loaned it to a neighbor for a bit for his early 60s Porsche and he said it worked great!I was just looking at battery tenders and think I'll go that way.
