I've never understood why bible pages are essentially transparent. Reading scripture shouldn't be such a strain on the eyes. Also nice knife!

Not a common occurrence, but it's a bummer when it happens. For sure ! Bummer though Miles Davis Relaxin had a bad warp so it’s getting returned .
Yes this one was new also and the plastic wrap was so tight I think it contributed to the warp. I’ve got the center weight/stabilizer also but this one was to bad. It played fine and didn’t notice any sound difference but payed liked almost 40 dollars for it and it was annoying watching the tone arm going up and down lol. I tried tweaking it and saw no difference. If I didn’t have the option to return it or if it was a rare album or master recording I would have tried the ovenNot a common occurrence, but it's a bummer when it happens.
I've got a spindle clamp/stabilizer that helps greatly, all but the worst warped platters get flattened out.
About ten years ago I had ordered a record that's out of print and fairly rare. It was still unopened, so I was remiss to discover it had a serious warp. I've tried a few things, just short of putting it in the oven lol.
