EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Mornin folks! Hope you're all having a good day. Got the BM mini Ritter Grip with Wilkins scales and an ol' trusty Scallion. I carried a Scallion everyday as my EDC for a few years many years back. Now that I think about it, the Scallion has been in production since I first caught the knife bug in a serious way back in like 2007, and I don't know how long it had been in production before that. And for the hell of it, here's a big A boat that I came across in my travels. Looks like it had just been completed. A lot of beautiful aluminum on that thing. Good thing we're not addicted to boats.

I tinkered around with this one for an hour or so today.
Polished the "flats" with the fluting masked off.
Came out alright but I was hoping for a little more contrast between the polish and fluting.
I can live with it though. 😉

A couple of older knives that have not been carried much. Now that I am retired from the office these bigger knives can get to see the light of day. The Microtech Elite carry is tip down with no option to change position of clip....hum it might be the only one in my collection that carries that way. The Lightfoot (manual not the auto) is from 2001 and Elite from 2000 both steels are 154 CM

That reminds of a knife I got from Amazon one time 😳
The only problem was it was a 300 dollar ZT I purchased and somewhere a long the way evidently a employee decided to put his old beat up Milwaukee box cutter in the box after taking the ZT 😂
Funny now but not then lol But Amazon over nighted me a new knife no questions asked . But yeah I was little upset when I called 😆

My buddy bought a brand new milwaukee m18 table saw. He got home and it was full of rocks. We laughed so hard. He did get it replaced..

Any idea what that boat is for? Does not look like a fishing boat, more like a military boat? John

Wow that’s crazy lol !
They weren’t concerned about the weight difference with mine . It was in a bubble wrap envelope and right when I picked it up I knew it wasn’t the weight of a ZT 0562 .
My heart started racing and to no surprise I found what I found 🤪

Kids should come with bio hazard warning ⚠️ till the age of 21 and free hazmat suits for parents 😀

I'd say a lot of us have that experience, I usually have a sak or multi tool as well,
As my sister in law once told me.
*those multi thingys come in handy"
I encouraged a young lady who worked for us to find a knife she liked and carry it ( always expecting me to carry a knife / cut stuff on demand ).
She finally did for a little while then nada . Granted the pockets in women's clothes are too tiny but she always had that giant ( to me ) cell phone in the back pocket . . .
Apparently we few are blessed with the rare and artful skill of taming and commanding sharp things not just anybody can do it .
Or some sheet .

During my recent period of : 'I'm just buying these little inexpensive knives I have always been curious about ; I can do that and still say I have stopped buying knives '
right ?
Think Kershaw Oso Sweet < $30
I bought a Scallion . Was the ano aluminum handle ; I would rather of had the grippy handle yours has but it was eye opening ! The Scallion is a great knife .
