Houston metro area?
Hell yeah, the Scallion is a great knife! I actually went through a phase earlier this year where I was carrying it everyday again as my sort of small beater knife. Here's my original Scallion actually, I still have it! I have a few Scallions in the collection now days though.I also carried the scallion every day for about 6 or 7 years before I caught the knife bug. I beat the tar out of that thing. It holds a special place in my heart.
Looks a little worse for wear
Yeah man, I hear you on trying to cheat by switching to buying inexpensive knives haha. Although I have to say that some of my most fulfilling knife buys have been inexpensive knives. They're really in a whole different league than they were a decade ago. Sometimes they even make the more expensive knives look bad when you think of the price difference.During my recent period of : 'I'm just buying these little inexpensive knives I have always been curious about ; I can do that and still say I have stopped buying knives '
right ?
Think Kershaw Oso Sweet < $30
I bought a Scallion . Was the ano aluminum handle ; I would rather of had the grippy handle yours has but it was eye opening ! The Scallion is a great knife .
Close! Olmos Dam in San AntonioHouston metro area?
I'm not sure what it's for. Actually, now that you say it, it was being rolled out of a warehouse across the street from a National Guard training center, perhaps they're tied together. It's a beefy son of a gun whatever it is!Any idea what that boat is for? Does not look like a fishing boat, more like a military boat? John
Definitely. And definitely not somewhere I would want to be at night. But I think that's also part of the charm of it.Looks a little worse for wear
You confirmed what I typed but deleted. Where is this located?Definitely. And definitely not somewhere I would want to be at night. But I think that's also part of the charm of it.
Looks like the river I swam and fished in while growing up in Northwest Florida. The river forms the Florida-Albama line
Have you seen them yet? I was having a look yesterday!...but kinda waiting to see what new designs they release this year![]()
