Of course, I could not leave this place empty-handed. :)

I got sidetracked from yesterday's chainsaw/limbing work and spent some time cleaning up our old manual pole saw instead. It had been left in an open-face shed and the damn squirrels had chewed up the square-edge replacement handle I'd made for it years ago. I couldn't find a piece of 5/4 stock in my stash to make a new one, so I spent time sanding out and rounding off all the splintery, shredded gnawings in the wood shop and no time getting the gas power pruner and chainsaw fired up before the snow started.

Anyway, I did pocket the Tabargan while working on the pole saw and was back and forth with that knife and the Arius as I'll likely be again today, should I actually get to the limbing and bucking work.
