EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I've been carrying it a lot lately. I think what I love so much about the design is that even though it's a beast, it's so easy to carry (slim and relatively light), comfortable, and slices like a madvillain. The size might make it look novelty, but the actual use and function of the design just makes it a great EDC.
You're not helping. 🤣

My most carried work user, going back over ten years now. I bought this extensively re-profiled off the Exchange and it went straight into my pocket and right to the job site. It didn't take long to get it's first chip after encountering a knot and I spent a lot of time getting it back to a more normal edge bevel and losing that ding along the way. It's been a great companion for a lotta years and the Ti side shows ample evidence of all the work and our time together.

The edge is still pretty broad towards to tip....

The edge looks absolutely amazing, period, but even more so that its been a EDC for 10 years.

Well thanks, my friend. Your comment had me inspecting the edge under a bright light and recalling what I had to do to get rid of that chip and have a more practical bevel on the S35VN. At the time I had only my SharpMaker for a "fixed" system, but fortunately had added a pair of their diamond triangles to my set-up. The original owner had freehanded to well past 15° DPS and I started out taking it to 15 which took a long time and still didn't quite lose the chip. A second re-profile took the knife to about 18 DPS which is where it remains to this day, although it's been re-sharpened a few times since on the EdgePro I acquired later and have augmented over the years.

As the KnifeArt 21 is a work knife, I keep the edge slightly on the toothy side, though I do polish it some to keep it a taste more slippery before giving it just a couple passes on SharpMaker fines for a hint of a 20° micro-bevel. Looking at it under the light I can still see a bit of shoulder to the edge bevel from the belly to the tip remaining from the original owner's crazy reprofile. The old girl is sure one helluva cutter despite all he's been through, though. 😁
