EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I spent a couple hours today getting things squared away in the near-empty woodshed and stocked the framing scrap side with a pick-up load of 2x spruce from a contractor/friend/client's framing job down-Cape. I hadn't carried my large Ritter Grip for some time and was glad to have this stout blade along with me today.

After most of the day with the full-sized knife, it occurred to me that it and its companion small had worn the same boring tails for too many years, so I dug through my bead stash and found a great match for this one, changing to plain black cord along the way. I swapped out the small too after losing the light and will carry the pair tomorrow and get pics of both to post then.

Greetings friends! It's been a minute. I typically slow down on posting when the days get short here in the PNW and it's been an extremely busy few months for me as well. I also spent 5 weeks back home in Florida (as I usually do around Feb), but I had so much work to do getting a property ready to sell that I had almost no free time. In fact I only got out kayaking twice when I usually go 3-4 times a week when I'm down. It was a productive trip at least, and I got to see the loved ones which is most important.

I did make it out to sunrise most days though and happened to snap one knife pic

Was missing your colorful posts and wondering where you were👌......Nice to see you again👍

Carried these 2 yesterday. Then I did a little bit of outside work and used the Petrified Fish 818. It's my go-to when I have some real, serious, nasty work to do. Bent the crap out of the clip when it snagged something while in my pocket. I'll have to take it off and bend it back again. Just the price of being a knife aficionado I guess.

I love it when they call me to cover someone else's job, on the seedy side of town.

Always carry one for each hand, and another two or three in the car, just in case! 😉

Hopefully those on the seedier side of town do not think standing on the tracks is a way to stop your job. Even at yard speed, I bet the business end of your work driver leaves one heck of a mark
