I'm not really a fan of the whole revolver chic with the hardware, but I really love this ZT. It's a great blade design and every time I carry it I'm amazed at how light it is for the size. Also - ergos are just superb - the feel in-hand is just so good.

I actually set the new-to-me Cheburkov aside today and carried the 710 solo for my morning walk and while I worked on our bathroom refresh project this afternoon. I sanded a piece of poplar I dug out of the wood shop stash to mill and add a shelf to one of the vanity base cabs. I managed to knock the knife off the bench and, though it landed on the rubber work mat, it did so vertically blade first and blunted the tip. Sigh....



I drilled some shelf pin holes in that cabinet later, re-installed all the doors and drawers which I had sanded and re-finished a couple weeks back, and got a couple coats on the shelf and a piece of base along the way. Afterwards I got outside for a bit, managing a few more knife pics, before heading back inside to sharpen up the 710's D2 blade a bit and get back in the right direction toward the fine tip I'd messed up.
