Yeah I've noticed that with axis lock knives of other brands too, a bit stiffer.Yes some of the after market springs and even other brand knives with Axis lock catches me by surprised.
I was going to ask but you may have already answered one of my questions ; you mentioned one finger on the bar to operate it.
but here goes anyway
1. normally do you use one finger / thumb to work the lock or pinch grip the Axis thumb on one side and index on the other ?
2. do you regularly fidget a lot or not so much ?
I've never broken a spring so was wondering what it takes .
