Yes, you are right, your knife is based on the Scout model, with a blade from Snatch. Apparently, it was a custom order.

Thanks for all that, M maxjeg . Apparantley what I found on Google Translate, then, was a homophone for, perhaps, a verb. I was starting to think what I found was a stretch, as I mentioned.

Clearly, from your message and what I had found, my knife is based on the Scout platform/handle which seems somewhat ubiquitous during that period of Workshop Cheburkova's production. Despite the finger grooves, the Snatch, with the same blade as my knife, seems to be the same handle platform. I also found a "previously sold" knife with the Bars blade and an identical handle to mine at Arizona Custom Knives.

I like that my knife is unusual, if not unique, with the Snatch blade in a Scout handle. I've not seen another like it as I search around, and I don't believe I presently have another harpoon style aside from my CRK Umnumzaan.

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and getting me on the right path to actually knowing what it is that I have.
