We're sitting in our reclaimed chairs on the funky old deck that came with our beautiful hilltop meadow. The valley's all socked in with haze, so no view today--we can just barely make out the silhouettes of the closest of the White Mountains across the river. Still, there's a lovely breeze and the smell of the woods and fields is so clean and fresh. Just intoxicating.

J and I have our matching woods knives--Delica and Endura with orange homing beacon scales.
