EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Ever use your knife just to use your knife? After I took a pocket dump picture, I decided to make some strawberry shortcake. Instead of the acceptable kitchen knives, I used my Rough Ryder whittler.

Pen blade for the stems,




Main blade for dicing up the berries. The pen blade needs sharpening.

This thread moves so fast I'm way behind.
The reason being Thursday night, my time. Our best mate Buddy the staff had a medical episode and we had to rush him to animal hospital. Sadly it was decided as a family, in the early hours of Friday morning to put him to sleep. His quality of life wouldn't have good. He had a great run though 14 last December, great companion to my kids during their formative years, 21 & 19. I'm missing him today Sunday. I'm home alone with no shadow at my feet.

I’m so sorry for your loss more than words could ever say . Please know he is looking down now and with a warm heart remembering all the love he shared with you. He will be even more happy knowing you’re doing the same . It’s been over 20 years since I lost my Doberman and he is still in my heart and thoughts to this day.

Thanks . That clears that up. I never saw the lyrics in print . As a kid I remember hearing that lyric and I always thought he said :
"straight-razor Toed woman"
I didn't GET THAT at all .
I just knew I wouldn't want to sleep with her ; cut up my legs and bed sheets with her toes .😶😂
