Just a reminder. Never let the hand that life deals you determine who you become. A younger friend of mine grew up with and absent father and a crack head mother. No family support his whole life, just never really had a fair shot.

I'm about to leave to head to his graduation ceremony from the police academy today. Couldn't be more proud of the man he turned out to be.
