I put the last coat of poly on the window casing, shelf/cabinet carcass, and lower counter today. I'll move operations over to the wood shop now to cut the cabinet bottom and cleats for fitting, sand two of the old shelves, the window stops, and sash, and build the cabinet doors before pre-finishing all of that.
Despite the temptation for a Micarta Monday I went with an all-metal knife to avoid wrecking any scales with misplaced urethane. It's been a while since I carried my Starbenza 25. I love my Wilson Combat knives and wish they would regularly feature greater numbers and editions by more makers again than just the few that occasionally pop up now.
This knife always makes me think of and miss our old friend Clay,
Kettleman
, who has withdrawn from our company, as we shared a mutual like for both WC and 25's.
