Really just curious about the materials and how it can be taken down.
I'm pretty sure the blade is X12 from GOST, which is an analog to D3.

Thanks my friend! It spent many years in my fishing backpack along with a Rapala fixed blade knife.

Here is what I usually include in my EDC.

A Makarov pistol (cerakoted, with 92 grain jacketed hollow points), a Zippo lighter, an Energizer tactical light, and a Buck 110 from their custom shop with stag handles. I put the brass fitting on the blade to make it easier to open if my hands are cold, wet, bloody, or injured.

Russian knifemakers usually use Х12МФ. This is an analogue of the American D2.
