Picked up a Dentside this past weekend. 77' with a 460. My dad and uncles all drove this gen and it's wild how nostalgia works. I haven't been in one since the early 80's but everything is so familiar, right down to the way the doors shut. I can't stop smiling when I drive it

Yessir! It's a Black Horse 2. A good ol knife. Good grip for working around water and stuff with it's rubber handle. I think it was discontinued quite some time ago though.

Needs a gun mount above the rear window. Then again, with that numberplate maybe not .... J/K

Thanks gents! I've still been floating around the forums, but it's taken me a bit longer to get back into posting this spring than it usually does. Hopefully as I start getting out in the mountains more as it continues to warm I'll be inspired to take more pics to post.

And Roland, I know, Right? I was thinking the same thing. At least a little Daisy Red Rider or something . I don't think it would be too out of place in our little town here, and that's what I plan to be the radius for this truck for the most part (other than to haul plywood when I need to). I'll be using my other vehicle for traveling farther (both for the creature comforts and to get more than 8mpg )
