  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I finally set my SERE aside today and grabbed another work knife to work on the cabinet doors for a few hours this afternoon. I cut the horns off the stiles, slightly downsizing the widths to align with the opening, cut the offset rabbets, and sanded everything out for flushness and edge smoothing. Tomorrow I'll mount the hinges, hang the doors, and make any final truing adjustments before removing for finishing sanding and four coats of oil-based poly.

I got some knife pics back at the house after putting the doors in the basement there.

Morning folks! Sprung a leek in my radiator, so it's off to riding my motorcycle to work at 2:00am for the next bit while I gather parts and work on it while I can, when I'm not working. You guys have all done it before though I'm sure, the American dream! Hope ya'll have a good day. 🤙

Hopefully the ride is not a bad one. Looks like a good place to cast a topwater buzz bait.
