EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I rummaged through my too-large accumulation of knives this morning as I was failing to easily decide what I should carry and use today. I pulled this one out of its slip by the tail right where the Hinderers meet the singles by various makers in my American mid-tech drawer, not sure of what it was. I haven't pocketed this little chunk for quite a while and figured why not. It didn't take long to remember how much I like this one, despite it being on the other end of the spectrum from the usual long and pointy types that I generally favor. It's perhaps the best flipper and smoothest of all my earlier gen (read, non-tri-way) RHK's and affords a reasonable 4-finger grip for such a short knife with my pinkie falling solidly on the up-angled facet at the butt.

I really like the textured lock side with its bright finish and the blade--different than any of my other RHK's--that seems to have sort of a finer, polished stonewashed finish to it. I've touched up its edge just a little and the knife is a pretty damn good cutter for being such a thick little chunk of steel.

I bought this on the Exchange just before going in for my hip replacement 8 years ago and had the copper hardware I ordered waiting for me when I got home. My wife and son were very patient with me as I fumbled through its installation upon arriving home, pain-killer and post-surgically addled, spraying various small pieces of hardware here and there about the room. I polished the copper up a time or two years back, but have come to prefer the darker patina that it's developed over the years.
