EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Can you show a picture?

I think they should slot their bottom hole, to allow some cant. (Angle)

Having it so vertical feels really tight in my midsection, and I'm "fairly" fit.
I don’t have any pictures, and am not in a spot where I can take any at the moment, but yeah, that’s pretty much what it looks like.

As far as cant, there’s usually enough room around the clip and belt to tilt forward as needed when drawing or sitting, but I don’t personally mind vertical ride… and I’m not as svelt as you. I will say slimmer, flatter handled knives tend to ride more comfortably for me IWB, though, and I’m not trying to IWB any monster camp or hunting style knives. The CS SRK is about as big as I’ll go in that method, but it’s a straight and fairly narrow profile for its size. That said, I probably could make it work if I really wanted to. Current favorites are the CS Kobun (which I recently rediscovered after several years and am really enjoying carrying that way), and things like the Civivi Tamashii, Tops Bootlegger, or other similar, more slender options.

Additionally, I’m used to carrying all manner of things on my belt line as someone who’s worn a duty belt for nearly 20 years. However, a recent uniform change to an outer carrier took a lot off the hips and moved it up onto the torso.

Happy saturday to a hopefully long weekend for ya'll. The weather's getting super nice, there's no rain anywhere in the forecast for the next couple weeks (but we all know how that goes). Did some yard work yesterday evening just as the sun was going down with the help of my small Seb 21.

Ok ....I think I need to start a new post, or look more? If I can't find one, I'll start a new one.

I want to like these clips. I want to use them.
I have a lot of questions about them, so I bought 2. A regular, and a reverse, just to see how to use them?

I still don't know?

Yes I understand carrying is very personal, and we are all shaped differently.

I'd like a post where people who carry show it worn. A picture is worth a thousand words.....

Are these clips just for looks?
They seem best for pocket carry. Is that what everyone is doing?

Visually, they look great. They are tight, and clean looking, but I haven't got them to wear right, yet.

I think I need a taller belt.
And If I start using them, I will have to redesign my sheaths. Personally I prefer edge forward, if I'm carrying between 3-6 o- clock. I would need more kant.

These are for IWB, right?
Or is the sheath supposed to be on the outside of the belt, dangling?

Any pics/opinions if you carry these?

For me they work best with a pancake sheath, jeans, and reverse clip for right pocket, normal clip for left pocket carry, Crag.

IWB carry doesn’t work for me for several reasons, one of them being too fat :) and I don’t care about concealing where I live. So it’s either OWB or in the pocket.

I have to admit, it's a Lot more comfortable in the pocket when standing alot.
I might need to make smaller stuff.....

And Definitely taking notes on asking people's preferences for pancake/taco, edge f/r, left handed, right handed, cant, etc., etc

Yeah … in my blue jeans I can go up to a 6” blade or so - not beyond. I always judge comfort by being able to sit in the car with seatbelt and forgetting about it. Left side OWB is better in the car for long knives.
