In SE Michigan we have had less than a dozen days above 70 degrees. When summer arrives it will happen overnight as it has the past couple of years. It’s been “summer” here for at least a month and half. I’m still not ready since summer tries to murder me every year!![]()
Ooo that looks like a nice feeder. I notice that the fluid in mine goes down so quickly. I don't know if my Hummingbirds really drink it that fast or it has a tiny leek. With your style of one it can't really leak since the container's on the bottom. They can fit their little tongues all the way to the bottom when the fluid get's low too? They came back just wish I had them trained like @Retired UPS Driver View attachment 2883228View attachment 2883229View attachment 2883230

Welcome to the forum! Or at least, posting on the forum. Nice couple of knives ya got there. I'd maybe recommend a Spyderco Para 3, I just checked mine and the steel liners go all the way down the handle. The g10 is milled so you can't see them unless you look inside, but they're there.Out of the house, it's the Benchmade 705 and around the house it's the Cold Steel AD-10. I'm looking for another <3" knife with full steel liners. ![]()
My neighbor has a feeder that looks like a cylinder that the food only was lasting a few days. Come to find out that after dark bats would come out and feed. As for the flat feeders we keep them pretty full, changing all the fluid every two weeks to keep down the floating mildew and bugs that get into it.Ooo that looks like a nice feeder. My little Hummingbird hangs out on the same spot of the power line almost all day every day except when he's feeding or doing crazy manuevers which seems like he just likes to show off sometimes. If you look at him with binoculars, it's funny watching his little proud, confident body up there on the power lines gently getting blown around in the wind and just enjoying his time.

I’ve really enjoyed your pictures of feeding the critters, they provide such joy watching them feed.
