It's been a nice weather day here again--despite temps in the low 80's and a clear blue sky, a gentle on-shore breeze (what isn't here on-Cape?) made it comfortable for my wife and I to lounge for a while in the back of the side yard. I got a second coat of urethane on the two cleaned up window sash, rinsed off the Charger, ran an errand or two uptown, and did a little power washing after doing some research and ordering new tips and a foam gun for that machine while my wife ran the mower and picked up some leaves on the other lot.

I had my re-profiled 247 Wayfarer Stealth with me on this most pleasant Saturday here near the sea.

Polished the button and flamed it gold. Added some black hardware and clip...

That looks awful sweet, my friend. I think you've got me leaning toward a purchase to add to my Sage collection. I've got at least one of all iterations 1-5 and two of a couple of them, but no 6. My glass top case is pretty full, but I could probably manage to squeeze in one more somehow.

Cutting up and first time working with the new steel Procut..... I'll send them out for heat treating, then get back to my regular schedule of orders.
I've been in the basement laying out, and profiling the last couple days....first time getting real time in the shop. Feels weird.

I panicked today.
I wanted a Nessmuk. I designed one.
Thought I didn't cut any out???
Luckily I had one non profiled blank left. But it was kinda long, and I was wasting material to make such a little knife.... I normally am really good about conserving steel!

Oops.... I must of done them earlier, and blanked out...no pun.

Now, I've got 3.....

Nice AFCK. My 806BK is D2 and has the oval hole. I very much prefer the round hole on my 800 and 806-1101 as the oval seems oddly resistant to easily flick open. Is yours an 806BK-901 in M4? Sweet knife. My only gripe with the special editions is having the blade's reverse side made into a billboard with that info and # count on the primary grind. As much as I love my -1101 I could really do without that inscription.
