EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I'm surprised how much of a difference in ergos the Lynch short clip makes on the PM2 -- it's fantastic. I'd heard all sorts of horror stories about installing them, but the partially occluded screws just required slightly more finagling; easy peasy.

Lol. Ya, can't say I've done it myself either. Think you need diamond paste and other junk. Looks great tho, and usually does make it an extra smooth slicer. Have bought used knives that had mirror edges.

With some practice and skill you can achieve a mirror edge with an inexpensive 35 buck lansky guided system sharpener (ceramic hones). It comes with 5 stones in deluxe kit up to 1000grit and can pick up 2000 sapphire hone for like 11 bucks. Also have diamond kits available for about twice the price which will be faster for super steels.

I could probably achieve it with certain belts with my kows also, or this clone edge pro with ceramic. I just usually like to keep my my edges toothy anyways, last longer, plus way I use knives that nice mirror edge would be ruined in no time. Not sure worth the tro7bke. If can get mirror edge on a belt that would be nice and easy.
