I’m glad my Friend it brought back good memories for you :) I let her in the backyard with me supervised . That’s really cool having yours leash trained and I’m sorry for your losses I know it can be difficult. Misty says hi and sends hugs to you and your loved ones.View attachment 2929957View attachment 2929958
Your Misty has the same coloration as our Lulu, who is sleeping on a folded up towel, just to the left of my key board, where she keeps me company. She was a stray that would come by for a meal, and one cold, December night decided she would rather live inside than out in the cold. John

Morning walk with the dog. Gotta get there before the heat sets in. :)

I was admiring your knife in these pics above, M maxjeg . Wondering about it led to a Google search of its (Ukranian?) designer Ivan Braginets, which eventually led to one Bronze Horseman (sold) at Arizona Custom Knives, which led me to maker Kristal Knives (of St Petersburg?), and on to a YouTube video which I watched about half of as my taste for knife videos has waned considerably over the years. Nice knife!

Your Horesman reminded me immediately of my Benchmade Narrows. While there are obvious differences in blade opening and locking mechanisms, their milling, materials, general appearance, and thinness combined with breadth are remarkably similar. I immediately got my Narrows out and soon after my Wilson Combat Les George Eagle which is larger and heftier than the BMK, but is a frame lock flipper like your knife. I carried both around with me today.

...both amazingly thin for being full modern folders....

Thanks, man! It's one of my very favorites and a frequent work user--great in pocket and a smooth flipper on Teflon washers. CTS_XHP is an excellent steel and while the blade stock is thin, it was not so much behind the edge. I gave it a 20 DPS re-profile, polishing the edge, and with the high grind it's pretty damn slicey now. I also like the subtle recurve.

So this was truly all I carried today. Been watching the videos on these cheap saws for awhile and finally got one. This thing is no joke! I have 3 other Stihl saws and all I can say is wow.

Thank you for your interest in my knife.
The brand Kristal Knives is a brand of a knife shop in my city (St. Petersburg). They work with several designers from Russia, Ukraine, Poland. They released one of the knives together with Esee. Knives are made by Maxace. The model of my knife is called Bronze Horseman 2.0, the designer is indeed from Ukraine, Ivan Braginets. Unlike the first version of the Bronze Horseman knife, my knife uses a liner-lock, the handle is made of G-10 and aluminum. The thickness of the handle is 12 mm.
Your knives are great!
