Carrying this one pretty much exclusively since it showed up. I like how all the edges of the handle are rounded versus the G10 version I had which was more blocky feeling to me and the fidget factor is awesome! Its right up there with the sage 5 as one of my favorite 3" blade folders. Worth every penny.

Wanted to share a picture of My Microtech Matrix. This one here is pretty cool very close to my 777.Is that your custom shop model? I remember seeing your thread when you ordered it. If you don’t mind me asking, how well together did it arrive? My experience with Benchmade has been nothing short of pleasant, but I do know they have some production faults. I’ve been jonesing for a Mini M4 Tanto for a quite some time, haha.

It's a shame. Great knife. But it was poorly fitted and the lock body was loose/clicked and the blade was basically touching one liner.
With the new scales it is rock solid and almost dead center now that its breaking in.
The M4 is holding an edge forever . It also came dead 20 dps. Awesome.

Damn that’s disappointing. I was hoping the custom shop stepped up the fit and finish process a bit more than their production line. At least you had scales to correct the issue yourself. It turned out great. Their M4 is supposed to be a fantastic steel, though I still have a desire to own a Mini M4 Tanto in dressed up in purple, haha.

Im really diggin that Matrix! I dont have any MIcrotechs yet so this one is on my radar now.
Picked up a mate for my smooth Keen. Really love this model and just need the grooved one now.
