And let’s start day two off right.. they’re tools after all.

Might I suggest in your month long carry, be careful with cutting anything to hard. I tried to cut some thin gauge copper wire and nicked my edge. I was trying to find my picture but I can’t seem to locate it. Just be careful with that extremely hard edge.

Thanks for the heads up Terry. I already borked the Tanto good about a month after I got it… shipping staples hiding under packing tape.

Been a Leatherman guy ever since I bought my first one -- a Rebar -- in 2016. I found the Rebar's handles uncomfortable in pliers mode, so it got relegated to the glove box and replaced with a Charge Plus in 2020. My Charge has done everything I've asked of it (including being pressed into hammer duty...), but it's never been something I considered carrying every day.

I've been changing things up lately, so I figured I'd revisit that notion and see what was out there. I nearly went for the ARC or the Free P2, but ultimately landed on the Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit MX Fingerprint Magnet.™️😂

The Spirit is a bit lighter, notably thinner and narrower, has every tool accessible from the outside...and the most comfortable grip in pliers mode of any MT I've handled. I've always loved SAKs, but had never really considered Vic's pliers-based tools before. I've been missing out! Trying it out in the pocket today. :)
