I've never been fly fishing, but it's on the list. I love fishing but have only been pond, lake, creek and river with a typical set-up for mostly inland fish.

I've never been fly fishing, but it's on the list. I love fishing but have only been pond, lake, creek and river with a typical set-up for mostly inland fish.

Same for me, I had trout fished my whole life but never with flies. During covid I bought a fly rod. When you catch your first trout on a dry fly. Its on then you will be hooked for life. They try to make it way more complicated than it needs to be, you don't have to whip it back and forth, throwing perfect loops. I use a roll cast 90% of the time
