EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Passing through the Idaho panhandle yesterday we stopped at Buck for a tour and then decided to swing by Lynch Northwest in Spokane Valley for a tour. We didn’t leave Buck empty handed and as you can see, we didn’t escape Lynch without a knife either. It is my carry today.

Great people at Lynch, dropped by a couple of weeks ago to find a low rider for my Bogdan custom. They took the time to go through inventory and find a Microtech clip that fit perfect then asked if I wanted a different color. Kind of cool that Casey made clips into a career.

My daughter and I decided to introduce you to the Pskov region.
Today we were in the city of Pechory.
The city of Pechory has been known since the 15th century for its monastery-fortress. For three centuries, this fortress, along with the fortress of Izborsk, fought off the troops of German, Livonian, and Polish invaders. Until Peter the Great, during the long Northern War, moved the borders to the west.
Where did we go after a four and a half hour drive? That's right, to eat! :)
The restaurant at the monastery turned out to be very tasty. 👍

Well, since it was already closer to six in the evening, my daughter and I went for a walk around the city center towards the hotel.

In addition to the two cathedrals, there was also a water tower on Cathedral Square. For some reason, with fake windows and doors. :)

We reached the Lutheran Church of St. Peter:

An organ concert rehearsal was in full swing there. We didn't disturb them, but we had a nice chat with the girl who organized it. It turns out they have a lot of concerts every summer. Musicians from other cities come to play, and even the Balts, mostly Estonians.

Along the way we saw many monuments of wooden architecture:

Most of them are from the time of Estonian rule. There is a lot of Baltic functionalism in the architecture of that period. But everything is in very poor condition.
Something like that. We will continue tomorrow.
Good health to everyone and such dreams. :)
Beautiful!

I'm a huge fan of Casey's products and have them on a ton of knives! The milled Hinderer ones are superb!PXL_20250812_003228558.jpg
