EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I think this catches me up posting on this thread, at least in terms of being on the right day. I put the Al Mar Eagle HD away this morning and grabbed the SERE 2000 that's kept right next to it. This makes for one sturdy work knife as I made and attached an extension on the table my wife uses for doing jigsaw puzzles in the loft. I also had it with me opening and breaking down packaging as I assembled the trailer dolly I got for my birthday to help move our log splitter around in Vermont.

We're out in Enumclaw now. Been here just over two years, and couldn't be happier with the choice. I personally wouldn't mind being even further out, and the dream at some point is to get a property big enough to build something intergenerational with our kids when they start families of their own, but for now this really is the perfect blend of small town and rural for us. I despise any time I have to go anywhere near the big cities now.
I had a hunch that’s where ya were! I am more closer to Leavenworth and the enchantments right now. Looking into buying some land up closer to Mt Baker perhaps, or go east. I just love it over here though.

Check out Wilbur it's a neat little town! I've been to Leavenworth, it is such a beautiful area! The whole Chief Joseph Canyon area is fantastic as well!

Friends, thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you like it.

My daughter and I stayed in Pskov for two days. To see the Kremlin, museums, and eat, of course. :)
We'll start from one end of the fortress walls of the old city, and go to the other. :)

Pokrovskaya Tower.

It was the one that suffered the brunt of the attack when the Polish troops of Stefan Batory tried to take Pskov many times in the 16th century. At some point, the tower even had to be blown up so that the Poles could not get through the walls.

Further along the embankment is the Kremlin itself.

There, in two towers separate from the Kremlin, is an exhibition dedicated to the Russo-Swedish War of the 17th-18th centuries.

Further along the Pskov River. Varlamovskaya Church, the only one of the many churches in the city with a functioning parish school.

A dam, there used to be a hydroelectric power station here:

And the final point in the line of fortifications on this bank, the Gremyachaya Tower.

It is currently mothballed and is slowly crumbling. I hope they will fix it. Well, we will move on. :)
