I feel like I’ve seen that house in a documentary film!Next jobsite in Malibu. Lord help me. A round house
It's the famous sand castle house.I feel like I’ve seen that house in a documentary film!
Oh it was a fantastic trip! Super super awesome. 8 nights out in the woods will always be better than almost anything for me. That's a good idea on the steel wool, I think I even have some on hand. Thanks!Hopefully other than the knife it was a good trip.
You might try 000 or 0000 steel wool to remove the rust. Hope it cleans up.
A Scotch Brite pad is good thinkin too, thank you!LimpCroissant , ^ That's what I'd do, or use one of those Scotch Brite pot scrubber thingies, with some Bar Keeper's Friend.
I haven't "googled" it, but like everything else, I'm sure there are a whole bunch of "experts" out there with YouTube videos on that very subject.
I've never messed with any chemical rust remover, but after reading some reviews on it, it looks like that could be just what the doctor ordered. Probably dulls the edge a decent little bit being a type of acid I presume, but that's not really a problem. It could use a good sharpening anyway. Thanks!Try this.

Use a plastic container that the knife will fit into. Then completely cover the knife, let sit. Should be gone in a couple hours. If not, let it sit overnight.
