Had to take a day off today. One of those use it or lose it deals.

After I got all my projects finished this morning, just been catching up on some tv.

Been flipping these two while relaxing. Obviously their actions are completely different.

Actually it is a $20 china mystery steel modern slipjoint thing, it has a decent grind, solid walk and talk, and holds an edge.

I spent some time this afternoon working on the replacement door for my wife's garden shed. I've got a door salvaged from a remodeling job years ago and scoured through the odds and ends of lumber I've got stashed here and there in the shop. I finally came up with enough material for the jambs and back-pads to fur in the rough opening for the 2" narrower door. I got everything ripped to size and cut to junk length and will get it all sanded, cut to finish length, clean up the sill, rabbet the side jambs for the head and sill, and assemble the frame tomorrow before plowing out the hinges and getting everything primed.

I carried my Knife Art Inkosingo for Carbon Fiber Framelock Friday. I haven't really decided whether this one will be a work user like my drop-point KA CF 21, but didn't even get it out of pocket to use today.

Nothing if not a creature of habit. Started off the weekend by heading into town for Fajita Friday this evening, then enjoying dessert on the front porch as the sun went down. Carried the Sebenza and Vic Companion. The fig tree really outperformed this year BTW. Looks like the final harvest count is going to be 130+ for the one tree, which should last me at least until the end of the weekend
