I used to have a "76 KZ 900 bored to 1015cc, bigger carbs, headers, completely rewired, too much to list great old in-line four. Quick and fast. Turning and slowing down... 'eh not so much. The first Mad Max movie with all the old bikes made me have to have one.

That’s exactly what I thought about my friends KZ! It was bad ass, 4-1 Kerker, nice paint, superbike bars… MadMax as all get out!
I had a BMWr100rs at the time and we blasting around the eastern shore and swapped bikes. It went quick! But yeah - turning and stopping!!!! The Beemer was WAAAAY better at all of that!

Veps Forest.

A nature park with ancient abandoned villages of the Veps people.

It was impossible to get into the depths of the forest. All the paths were flooded.

In the village, a third one joined us.

Later we learned that his name was Zeus. The cheerful dog accompanied us throughout the walk, and received a couple of pieces of dried meat from us.

We were able to get to a local waterfall.

There we had a snack and drank hot tea.
