EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I spent yesterday morning on banking, licensing, and errands, worked in the wood shop all afternoon on door hanging components, and never got around to getting any knife picks or posting. I took the easy way out today and doubled up carrying the same old favorite knife which really should get more carry than it does. I'd wanted one of these for a long time and finally found this one LNIB on the Exchange some years back. It really locks into my hand, has a great forward choil choke up grip, locks up solid as a rock, and takes a wicked keen, edge making it a surprisingly good cutter for being such a thick-bladed, hard duty piece.

We seem to be coming out of our dry spell here finally as it rained a couple times in the last week and we even got a nice, brief, non-torrential pop-up thunder storm this afternoon, though it did coincide with my snapping a few knife pics.

Made almost 10 years apart, 3000 miles apart (France and Florida), steel from the same slab forged in Pennsylvania.

Probably only the top one in the pocket tho

Belated sorry for that idiot in the Scirocco - hope it all mended, also for your girlfriend. I grew up in what you guys call "K-town", not far away from Rhein Main, even closer to Ramstein. Sounds like I'm about half generation younger than you.

I've kind of done a similar thing with my Harley: hit a truck (and flew over it) who was coming against me, he was turning left and cut me off across a light in San Jose. He wasn't even insured .... Anyways, if you see a photo of my Fatboy around BF: that's why it has custom tanks and paintjob .... there is a 100% probability to get into an accident with a bike, all that can be done is dress right. Always cringe when I see people without helmets here. So far, I had the above near total, and a second full total (of my Ducati back then), neither of the two was my fault.
Ja, Kaiserslautern. Didn't spend much time there - ran up to Frankfurt on my days off. But the area around K-town was beautiful.

Sounds like you went through the wringer - Harley and Ducati wrecks. Yeah I always say to people concerning bikes - you have to ride like everyone out there is trying to kill you.

I used to have a "76 KZ 900 bored to 1015cc, bigger carbs, headers, completely rewired, too much to list great old in-line four. Quick and fast. Turning and slowing down... 'eh not so much. The first Mad Max movie with all the old bikes made me have to have one.

Nice! Whereas many Japanese bikes in the 70s and early 80s had great motors - they did not have the rigid frames of the Laverdas, Moto Guzzi, Ducati, Norton etc
