Are the crimson trace grips worth the cost?

They came preinstalled from Kimber. I do like them, but I don't think I would have necessarily purchased them after the fact. I like/prefer just the basic iron sights as a rule.

It's nice ! Great for box opening, etc., and the 3V appears to hold a nice edge. Maybe a bit small - there is a larger version in S35vn that I have been considering, too.

Since you like Hinderers, have a look at their Wharncliffes, in particular the Skinny XM24 - it's awesome.

Day 2 of Spartan-tember! This is Spartan's first folder, the Akribis. From what I understand, they consulted with Chris Reeves on the design, which makes sense when you look at it. Nice smooth washer action, perfect for flicking or rolling.
