Fossilized granite. My FIL found a couple huge slabs of them logging years ago.

I've never heard of fossils stuck in granite, i thought it was cooled magma and didn't think any organic stuff would survive. That's simply incredible!

I’m not 100% sure it’s granite, but we have a LOT of granite around here and that’s sure what it looks like to me..

Looks kinda like palmettos to me, but I'm not an extinct plantologist.

I've been slackin on posting pictures lately. I had to do an emergency heater core bypass on my way back from a trip the other day. The Sebenza cut through the heater hoses like butter, that thing's been a work horse!
