I just noticed KnifeCenter has the Sage 1 Maxamet on sale almost 50% off. I dig that knife so much I'm tempted to buy it 2x. Anyone have a Native or a Shaman they are sick of carrying around and want to sell to save me from myself?!?

The Sage 1 Maxamet is a sweet one, Dave. That one of mine is the third double in my collection of 1-5 (still haven't picked up the #6). All my doubles are different variations of the same numbered versions--blue and CF # 3's, CF and LW # 5's, and the Original # 1 to go with the Gray G10 version. I would grant that you don't need two of the exact same, especially when there are so many other variations to search out, so I'll back off from the required BF enabler role just enough to say you're OK here to just have one of the Maxamets.

For my part I have been looking around at the Sage 6 button lock edition. I like the idea of a different steel choice, as all my Sages are S30V save the #1,V2, but 3 bills seems a pretty steep price when I'm really OK with S30V and don't expect that I'll need more in terms of performance from such a knife.

Getting back to Spy-tember/Octo-derco, I made this a Tenacious Tuesday for my late-comer Knife Day 23. This is the one I lost track of that forced me to make a list. I really like the blue G10 on this one--I think it's the same material as on the blue Sage 3 I posted a few days back.

I don't know how or why you guys carry so much stuff everyday. I tend to be pretty minimalist and focus on what I can practically use day to day. Anyway here's what I'm carrying
