Not much difference from last Fridays pic. $6 a dozen Fridays at Kroger. Only there seems to be more interest in them this week. I also really like this knife so it’s not hard for me to carry for days.

Photos taken yesterday when trying out my new 106. Haven't had a hatchet since I was a kid, only used Axes as an adult. Love it !

The ceracote cleans up nicely with a little oil:

Nice collection. I have three Axes. They don't accumulate like my knives though, and nothing fancy either. The 106 is my first hatchet in > 40 years

I'm doing my yearly Thanks-giving give-away a little different this year, and I'm starting earlier....

Edit to add: this is a take on a new handle design I was working on a couple years ago....I'm calling the handle "Sideshow".
It's an edc type handle for Real Work. It's a nod to the workers who set up carnivals, circus, street performers, etc.....people in the Street.
A rougher crowd...Dirty people. That work is a different kind of honest. Those side hustles may not be always legal, but they are Real.
I've always had respect for people who work. Get stuff done. End justifies the means type.

I'm adding this handle style to a variety of my blades, this one is a drop point. My first were more Wharn-type, but it's going on a bunch.....it's not the blade, it's Always the handle that I reach for.
