So far so good ... sure have to get used to it. Like a Tasmanian Devil, small and mean - a finger grip will be even more important than in the A1 Not sure if the wife will be comfortable with 230gr in this one. Will try 185 as well. 2nd disassembly went much easier than the first, and no idiot mark yet

They do get meaner as the barrel gets shorter. I do not know how people routinely shoot 454 Casull or 44Mag out of the Ruger Alaskan.
